【摘要】:Young’modulusisafundamentalmechanicalpropertyofamaterial.Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminethedynamicmodulusofelasticityofrectangularshapes.Sincethetestisnondestructive,specimensmaybeusedforothertestsasdesired.Thistestmethodisusefulforresearchanddevelopment,engineeringapplicationanddesign,manufacturingprocesscontrol,andfordevelopingpurchasingspecifications.ThefundamentalassumptioninherentinthistestmethodisthataPoisson’ratioof1/6istypicalforheterogeneousrefractorymaterials.TheactualPoisson’ratiomaydiffer.1.1Thistestmethodcoversaprocedureformeasuringtheresonancefrequencyintheflexural(transverse)modeofvibrationofrectangularrefractorybrickorrectangularlyshapedmonolithsatroomtemperature.Young'smodulusiscalculatedfromtheresonancefrequencyoftheshape,itsmass(weight)anddimensions.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
