【摘要】:MoistureasdeterminedbythistestmethodisusedforcalculatingotheranalyticalresultstoamoisturefreebasisusingproceduresinPracticeD3180.Moisturepercentdeterminedbythistestmethodmaybeusedinconjunctionwiththeair-drymoisturelossdeterminedinMethodD2013andTestMethodD3302todeterminetotalmoistureincoal.Totalmoistureisusedforcalculatingotheranalyticalresultstox201C;asreceivedx201D;basisusingPracticeD3180.Moisture,ash,volatilematter,andfixedcarbonpercentsconstitutetheproximateanalysisofcoalandcoke.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofmoistureintheanalysissampleofcoalorcoke.Itisusedforcalculatingotheranalyticalresultstoadrybasis.WhenusedinconjunctionwiththeairdryinglossasdeterminedinaccordancewithMethodD2013orPracticeD346,eachanalyticalresultcanbecalculatedtoanas-receivedbasis:1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
