【摘要】:ThispartofISO182specifiesamethodforthedeterminationofthethermalstabilityatelevatedtemperatureofcompoundsandproductsbasedonvinylchloridehomopolymersandcopolymers(inthefollowingtextabbreviatedasPVC)whichundergodehydrochlorination(theevolutionofhydrogenchlor-ide).2ThemethodmaybeusedasaqualitycontroltestduringmanufactureandconversionofPVCcom-pounds.ItmayalsobeusedforthecharacterizationofPVCcompoundsandproducts,especiallywithre-gardtotheeffectivenessoftheirheat-stabilizingsys-tems.ItissuitableforcolouredPVCcompoundsandprod-uctswhereadiscolourationtestundertheactionofheatmaybeunsatisfactory.3ThemethodisrecommendedforcompoundedPVCmaterialsandproductsonly,althoughitcanbeusedforpolymersinpowderformunderappropriateconditions,tobeagreeduponbetweentheinterestedparties.ThemethodisnotrecommendedforPVCcompoundsintheformofdryblends,sincesuchmaterialsmaynotbesufficientlyhomogeneous.4PVCcompoundsandproductsmayevolveotherdecompositionproducts,inadditiontohydrogenchloride,atelevatedtemperatures.Alimitednumberofthesedecompositionproductsmayaffectthecon-ductivityofwaterwhentheyareabsorbedintoit.CompensationforthiseffectisnotwithinthescopeofthispartofISO182,andthereforecareisnecess-aryinattemptingtocompareresultsfordissimilarcompoundsandproducts.Inthiscaseamethodsuit-ableforthedeterminationofchlorideion(Cl)intheabsorbingsolutionshallbeused(seeISO182-4).5Themethodmayalsobeappliedtootherplas-ticsmaterialswhichcanevolvehydrogenchlorideorotherhydrogenhalideswhenheatedunderthecon-ditionsprescribedbytherelevantspecifications,orasagreeduponbetweentheinterestedparties.
