【摘要】:1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthreeelectricaltestsonplasticguardsandassembledguardsystems.Theyare:1.1.1MethodA-Withstandvoltageprooftest,1.1.2MethodB-Flashovervoltage,and1.1.3MethodC-Leakagecurrent.1.1.4Thisspecificationcoversplasticguardequipmentandguardsystemsusedbyworkersfortemporaryinsulationonelectricpowercircuits.1.1.5Plasticguardequipmentcoveredbythisspecificationisratedformomentary,orbrushcontactonly.Maximum-usevoltagesarecoveredinTable1andTable2.1.2Thesetestmethodscover,butarenotlimitedto,thefollowingtypicalguards:1.2.1ConductorGuardsandConnectingCoversasfollowsLineguards,Lineguardconnectors,Insulatorcovers,Dead-endcovers,Busguards,andBus"T"guards.1.2.2StructureandApparatusCoversasfollowsPoleguards,Ridgepincovers,Switchbladecovers,Armguards,Cutoutcovers,Structuralbarriers,andCrossarmguard.1.3Itiscommonpracticefortheuserofthisequipmenttoprepareinstructionsforthecorrectuseandmaintenance.1.4Theuseandmaintenanceofthisequipmentisbeyondthescopeofthesetestmethods.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.
