【摘要】:Thermalinsulatingmaterialsthatproduceobjectionableodorscouldcausediscomforttopersonsoccupyingastructureinsulatedwithsuchmaterials.Therefore,anexaminationtodeterminetheodorpotentialofaparticularinsulationisdesirable.1.1Thistestmethodcoversalaboratoryprocedureforsubjectivedeterminationoftheexistence,nature,anddegreeofodorspresentinalltypesofthermalinsulationmaterials.Thistestmethodisnotintendedtoevaluatetheairqualityaspectsthatanysuchodorsmaypresent.1.2Thestandardtestconditionformaterialevaluatedunderthistestmethodis149x00B1;1.8x00B0;F(65x00B1;1x00B0;C).Standardspecificationsreferencingthistestmethodmayrequireothertestconditions.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.
